Privacy
Your information, plainly.
We collect as little as we can. This page explains what we do collect, why, and who else touches it.
What we collect
- Email requests. If you ask for a compound brief, you give us your email address. We use it to send you that one email. We keep a record only of the request being processed by our email provider, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you tick the optional box to receive updates.
- Optional updates. Where we offer an optional box to receive Aminodex updates, ticking it means we store your email address to send you updates, and every update will have a way to unsubscribe. Leaving it unticked adds you to nothing.
- Messages. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider handles ordinary server and security logs, such as IP address and pages requested. We may use privacy-focused traffic statistics that do not use cookies to see which pages are read.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not collect payment details. Aminodex does not sell anything.
- We do not ask for health information. Please do not send us any.
Who else handles data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and handles traffic and security.
- Resend sends the compound brief and any updates you opt into.
- Google Fonts supplies our typefaces, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
- PubMed (NCBI). Where a compound page shows recent publications, your browser contacts the US National Library of Medicine directly to fetch the list.
- Gmail receives the messages you send us.
Each of these has its own privacy policy, which applies to what it handles.
Links to other sites
Aminodex links to other sites, including Amazon and research suppliers. Some of those links are affiliate links (see Disclosures). When you click one, that site may set its own cookies and collect its own data, which we do not control.
Search
Site search runs in your browser. What you type into it is not sent to us.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete an email address we hold, or to stop sending you updates, by writing through the contact page. Updates also include an unsubscribe link.
Who the site is for
Aminodex is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the bottom of this page.
